Yes! A home inspection when buying a home is highly recommended to help you protect your investment! A home inspection will take place after your offer is accepted within your inspection contingency! A licensed home inspector will go out to the property & tell us the condition of the property. They will tell us about the roof, plumbing, electrician, HVAC, etc – basically the bones of the house! If they recommend a further inspection on the roof, then we will call out a licensed roofer! Afterwards, if anything is needing to be repaired or replaced, we are able to negotiate with the sellers to fix it, replace it or give credits towards the repair, in what we call a request for repairs
Inspections are so important so you know the condition of your home! It’s your right as a buyer to do inspections within your contingency period!
